GREAT boot! Writing this review because I couldn't find much info on the Remuda leather. It looks much less "yellow" in person and more natural. It is soft and supple like a really nice glove leather. Thicker than actual glove leather but thinner than my 7-8oz horween calf leather boots. Perfect for sunny AZ. Will use these for everyday wear around town but I'll still keep my work boots for cleaning the outdoor stalls.
If you haven't worn Rio's boots before. I normally wear a sz 11 gym shoe and 10.5 boot. These fit perfect in 10.5 without the insole that Rio's ships them with. They are wearable but tight with insole in place and I don't like how it elevates my heal. So I toss the insoles out. If you want to wear the insole right out of the box, order 1/2 size up.
